Veronica and Alice are lesbian pop stars in love; at least that’s what their fans think.

BARBELLE follows the story of a newly famous pop star duo whose meteoric rise to stardom has led to a blitzkrieg on their personal lives. A quick scroll through our heroines’ Instagram account would suggest romantic bliss, but Alice and Veronica’s digital harmony couldn’t be further from the truth. Alice has fallen for a tween queen, Lulu, a closeted young starlet stuck in masked hetero limbo due to a carefully crafted family channel image. Meanwhile, Veronica's obsessive and tumultuous relationship to fame has driven her self-destructive party girl tendencies to all time highs.

In the digital world where the truth is a filter change away from relative fiction, the women of Barbelle find love, feel heartbreak, and search for meaning in the complicated labyrinth that is cyberspace celebrity.
